Conditions of Hire
1. The above rates are inclusive of Excess Waiver, Petrol, 17.5%VAT and are quoted in US dollars.
2. Hirers/ Drivers must be between 21 and 80 years and should have held a valid driver’s licence for a minimum of 2 years.
3. It is mandatory to purchase a Barbados driving permit which costs $5 US per person and is valid for two months.
4. There is an extra driver's charge of $2.50 US per day for each additional driver. The hirer’s spouse is exempt from additional driver charges.
5. Vehicles are delivered with approx. 1/4 tank of petrol in the tank. Clients should leave it as empty as possible at the end of the hire.
6. Child/booster seats as well as GPS Units are available for hire - $5 USD per day
8. Tyre damage is not covered by our Excess Waiver. Flat tyres are repaired free of charge, but if a tyre or rim has been damaged beyond repairs, the client will be charged with the cost of replacement.
9. Vehicles are hired on a 24 hour basis, and must be returned at the same time they are delivered. Requests for extension are subject to availability.
